This large vintage green majolica glazed piece features a vegetative or cabbage leaf design in relief around the entire piece and probably belongs to the Vegetable Collection of the prestigious Portuguese brand, Olfaire. The tureen has two handles and is accompanied by a matching lid and ladle. The adorable handle on the lid is a curled vine.
Handmade in Caldas de Rahina, this is a high-quality vintage piece with hardly any signs of age and appears to have never been used. There is only one very small chip on the rim. This generous serving piece measures 14"Lx11"Wx8"H.
