Vintage 40s/50s Simplicity 3014 Sz 16 (34/28/37) Women's Housecoat/Brunch Coat:

I'm not sure of the age of this item. It looks late 40s, might be early 50s. Has a very retro vibe. The long version is particularly elegant--ankle length, with neat little cuffs on 3/4 sleeves, patch pockets with matching flaps, and flared collar. Something I'd make up in velveteen or satin and reserve for sleeping in late and lingering long over my morning hot chocolate.
