For sale in our store is a vintage unique and rare CP Rail mesh snapback trucker hat/cap with a patch logo for CP Rail Rogers Pass Project which was a long tunnel under the mountain pass. This plan was conceived in 1972 and was expected to be complete by 1988. It was CPR\'s biggest undertaking since the driving of the last spike in 1886.C.P. Rail - Mount Macdonald Tunnel (1988) 14.66 km (9.11 mi)
It took the title from the Cascade Tunnel (1929) 12.6 km (7.8 mi) as the longest railway tunnel in the North America. The project was the largest undertaking by CP with an expansion of capacity since the completion of the \"Last Spike\" of the transcontinental in the early 1880s. In 2016, the tunnel was inducted into the North America Railway Hall of Fame
This uncommon piece of railway history hat/cap has 6 panels, 4 white nylon mesh and the two front panels are red cotton blend. There is a CP Rail patch sewn on the center of the two front panels. The hat/cap was made by Promo-Wear located in Manitoba Canada.
