This is an antique brass candlestick set made by Benedict Karnak Brass in the 1920s in the United Kingdom. The candlesticks are designed in the Egyptian Revival style and feature repeating busts of the King Tut sarcophagus mask. They are handmade and have a unique historical value. Pattern 506.


Discovered in 1922 by British archaeologist Howard Carter and his benefactor Lord Carnarvon, the tomb of King Tutankhamen’s four chambers were crammed with such spectacular objects as gold-covered chariots; elaborately carved alabaster vessels; inlaid furniture; and a vast array of Tutankhamun's personal belongings.
