. . . . .This photograph was taken at the avenue of human-headed sphinxes that runs from the Temple of Luxor to the Temple of Karnak about a mile away. This avenue was built by Nectanebo I, who was a pharoah of the 30th Dynasty, he ruled from 380-362 B.C.
