The Pyramid of Menkaure

. . . . .This is the smallest of the three pyramids
of Giza. It stands only about 215 feet high, not
even half the height of the "Great Pyramid". It was built as a tomb
for Menkaure, a pharaoh of the 4th Dynasty. On the right, you can see
three subsidiary pyramids. In the distance is the modern city of
Cairo, which now sprawls to the very edge of the
Giza Plateau.
