. . . . On the upper part of the burial chamber wall we find a strange beast with the head of ram and outstretched wings. It sits below a scene from the Book of Caverns. It portrays what is called the nighttime passage of the solar star. Here, Merenptah and his ba worship three solar deities. The first, an upside down young boy. Second, a black scarab with the head of a ram and finally a red disc sitting on Merenptah's royal cartouche.
